The Mobile Career Center (MCC) is an economic empowerment center on wheels that has brought the term “meet her where she is” to life. The MCC takes Dress for Success Columbus services directly into the neighborhoods that need them the most. Onboard, women receive head-to-toe styling, cosmetics, and personal care items. The MCC also offers computer-skills training; assistance with resumes, cover letters, and interview skills; and access to information about job openings and community resources.

She Thrives is a professional skills training program designed to equip women with the tools to navigate their careers with confidence, resilience, and impact. Through engaging, interactive sessions, participants build confidence and develop essential soft skills to excel in any field. Led by experienced facilitators, each session features hands-on workshops, role-playing exercises, and group discussions focused on effective communication, interpersonal skills, leadership development, professional presence, and emotional intelligence.

The Build for Better financial empowerment series is intentionally designed to encourage women to connect with each other and engage in dialogue with financial professionals about what it takes to achieve their personal financial goals. Program participants will be challenged to make a plan to support their savings, debt reduction, investment goals and much more.

Empower HER is the heart of the Dress for Success community—a space where women come together to connect, grow, and thrive. This dynamic program offers quarterly networking, community engagement and empowerment events.
