Powered by local volunteers, donors, and supporters, the FAB Sale transforms fashion into a vehicle for economic empowerment and environmental sustainability. Featuring a thoughtfully curated selection of new and gently-loved clothing, shoes, and accessories, FAB Sales (Fill-a-bag) is a community shopping experience, where DFSC opens its doors to the public to sell excess inventory from its boutique. It provides an accessible shopping experience while generating critical funding for programs that help women secure employment and achieve financial independence. This initiative also plays a key role in our sustainability efforts by extending the life cycle of quality apparel, reducing textile waste, and promoting conscious consumerism.In a time when fast fashion contributes to millions of tons of waste annually, the FAB Sale exemplifies how mission-driven initiatives can create meaningful impact. By engaging the community in a sustainable shopping experience, the event not only elevates wardrobes but also fosters connection, purpose, and long-term support for the women we serve.
